Arthur Gurmankin is retired newspaper editor, technology consultant and professional educator. He has degrees in Biological Science and Art History/Fine Art and currently produces photography and digital art for publishers and, publishes books of his own. Arthur's books are primarily about environmental subjects and are richly illustrated with his photographs and digital renditions of plant and animal life and their habitats. He does all of his own book and cover designs and page layouts. Arthur's most recent environmental book, "A River Which Sweeps Me Along" is a 48-page, full-color book of beautifully conceived and rendered images of mountain and woodland streams and rivers. The spirituality evoked by moving waters is captured through imagery, philosophy and personal commentary. His next book about Nature and the Environment, "Incandescent Twilight," is in progress. The prequel to "And the RANTS Just Keep on Coming" is "RANTS Against the RIGHT-WING," a compilation of RANTS against mostly RIGHT-WING politics and ideology; but a number of liberal Democrats also receive the RANTS they deserve. Each Rant can be read individually, this is one of those books you can pick up and begin anywhere among the 92 pages. Not much is sacred in this book, literally; religion-in-politics is a frequently RANTed topic. In reverse chronological order, Arthur is a grandfather, father and husband. Aside from sending RANTS to newspapers, he spends a lot of time around lakes and trout streams in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains. If you're in that part of the world and come across someone standing in a stream, holding both a camera and a fly rod, perhaps in the act of photographing a brook trout which he's about to release, don't hesitate to say "hello," it's probably him. Such behavior does not represent that of a person who is "indecisive," rather, someone who is twice as passionate as a normal person.
