Always been a Democrat but in name only. I couldn't explain why really until during the 2004 election campaigns I met a lady also in her 60's who introduced me to others who were paying attention to todays politics.

I became active in the County Democratic Party and in MoveOn.org. By joining in I was introduced to elected officials, candidates for public office and dedicated citizens who worked to benefit our community, it's citizens, and our country and it's image around the world.

I learned that one person, one voice can make a difference. There is abundant work to be done on every level - not just on any specific campaign issue or for a specific candidate. I guarantee if you become invoved your eyes will be opened to the oppotunities you have to make a difference.

Please don't sit back unaware of the issues, and let others make the decisions that affect your future.
