  • I think some who don't vote may think the system is broken. Some use that as an excuse. But what I see around me mostly is a lot of apathy and laziness. People can't be bothered to follow the news, get interested in policy and legislation and exercise their brains to make a decision. There were a few years in my past when I didn't go out to vote, and generally it was because I didn't know what candidates stood for and didn't want to make the wrong choice, so I thought it better to make no choice. Obviously, what's better is to stay informed.
